ASPWebMail is a complete web based mail solution, written in ASP and with a licensed ActiveX mail control included. It mimics the mail functionality of the familiar Outlook interface on the web. It allows you to check, save, reply and send email from several POP3 mailboxes from anywhere on the web and has several anti-spam features.     Important notes
  • Additional requirements: Access to an existing SMTP and POP mailserver
  • Need to use SMTPAuthentication? Set UseSMTPAuthentication=True in global.asa and fill out the proper SMTPAccount and SMTPPass
  • Optionally change the EncryptionKey and make sure to store a copy in a safe place!
  • Login as user Admin (pass=pass or empty), configure your account and add users and groups, rename Admin
          Attention! If the Encryption Control is not installed, you need to clear the initial Admin password in the Access database manually first!
  • It is recommended to use SQL Server in all professional environments. You can find a SQL script in the FAQ.
