21/07/07 - Version 5.1
  • Improved: Average rating added to database, search on rating is now possible
  • Added Story feature that allows a HTML story to be added to each folder by admins
  • Added User selectable direct link duration
  • Improved Show Video in native aspect ratio

  • Global option "ForceSortby" to force a different sort order (once until users change it again)
  • Improved handling of corrupt images and unsupported video types. Corrupt images will be renamed to .invalid.

    10/01/06 - Version 4.2
  • New! Option to mark if new comments were added to a file or folder
  • Improved handling of corrupt images and unsupported video types. Corrupt images will be renamed to .invalid.
  • New! Added "JPG Comment" Read/Write support. Admins can add a JPG comment to any JPG file.
  • Improved: Direct linking to images can now be limited to n days, and direct links have thier own unique ID for safer publishing (prevent URL guessing)
  • New! IPTC read support. Auto-import IPTC Name, Keywords and description
  • New! Support for reading RAW images (CRW,CR2,DNG,MRW,NEF,ORF,RAF)! Option to use embedded JPG or read the full RAW file (much slower).
  • Added: support for Hotkeys (Left/Right/Home/+/- etc.) in FireFox
  • Added: Option DownSizeOriginals to automatically shrink all original images in LP upon indexing to save disk space (for example when on a hosted server with limited space). CAUTION! This will modify the original images!
  • Improved: Search now includes folder descriptions, folder comments and file comments
  • New: Much improved Upload & Download with a high-performance and efficient ActiveX upload control (full version).

  • Added: Unsupported script to import file info from an old database to a new (only if relative path of files is the same)
  • Added: Option to auto-backup the Database every n days (MS Access only)
  • Added: Admin option to backup the Access Database manually (full version)
  • Improved: Added frame capture support for much more video formats. This includes basically all video types that can be played with Media Player. Required: directX 8.1+ with proper codecs installed.
  • Added: Function to extract frames from video files and save them as JPG (full version)
  • Added: Option to add a filmstrip look to video thumbnails

    12/11/05 - Version 4.1
  • Added: Additional EXIF info for Casio camera's
  • Added: EXIF info for ISO values is read for Casio and Canon camera's. This is not visible in most image editors, since they store that info in the EXIF maker note.
  • Added: Admin option to clear Lowres material
  • Fixed: Problem where lowres material of modified files would not be rebuilt during an admin "Rebuild" action

    Notes: Fields were added to the database, so you need to use the new database (rebuilds automatically). Setup a test instance first!
